Posidonia: National and International certifications

Posidonia operates according to and certifies its products with all 11 IACS (International Association of Classification Societies) registers, including ABS (USA), BV (France), CCS (China), CRS (Croatia), DNV (Germany), IRS (India), KR (South Korea), LR (UK), PRS (Poland), RINA (Italy), RS (Russia), and ClassNK (Japan).

Additionally, we are capable of certifying with other national and international naval and river registers such as Taiwan CR, Chinese CCS, and the Russian Maritime Register. We also certify for the NAVY of many countries worldwide.

Our in-house pull test is recognized by IACS entities.

Having an in-house pull test and designers allows us to assist those who need a specific certification by providing the required drawings and tests to certification bodies.

At Posidonia's workshops, there are certified welders according to the ISO standard.

Our workshop staff is permanent and consists of highly specialized workers, all holding welding certifications from the Italian Welding Institute.

In our workshop, we have operators with certifications for both non-destructive testing (NDT) and magnetic particle testing (MT) according to ISO standards.

The Posidonia standard is to achieve higher performance with less weight and space requirements.

Our products, approved by naval registries, have a clear identification of the safety working load derived from the OCIMF and IMO regulations related to ship safety and environmental protection.

This way, instead of installing heavy equipment derived from old industrial standards (JIS, NORSK, DIN, GOS), deck equipment with Posidonia standards can be installed, saving space and weight.
