In the glittering stand at Darse sud DS84, the Plow anchor rests on Italwinch's NV-24 windlass and shines with a bottle of champagne swinging from the barrel. Tradition has it that boats are launched by breaking a bottle of champagne on anchor.
On display in our stand for the MYS 2022 edition we have a Plow Posidonia anchor that weighs 370 kg and is designed for sailboats over 50 meters, is ABS certified and is produced from sheet metal. Production from sheet metal is clearly superior to casting products. Of course, the Plow Posidonia anchor can have the weight you want… from 100 kg upwards, that is for sailing boats of twenty meters or 70 feet. The Plow anchor is a versatile anchor and very suitable for sandy and muddy bottoms. It has a weight reduction of 25% compared to a normal anchor.
