Pedestal Roller IMO 1175

What is a Pedestal Roller IMO 1175?
The Pedestal Roller IMO 1175, also known as a fairlead roller, is used to redirect a cable or rope on board, usually to avoid an obstacle that has arisen due to a change in the mooring plan.
This type of equipment is found on large boats or commercial vessels. We provide IMO 1175 Pedestal rollers with diameters ranging from 200 to 450 mm.
Practical Functions
Essentially, it is a mechanical pulley component that:
- Guides cables and ropes in different directions
- Facilitates mooring maneuvers
- Adapts to non-standard or time-varying mooring configurations
- Reduces cable wear thanks to roller rotation
It is therefore a crucial accessory for operational flexibility in maneuvering commercial vessels. Our Fairlead Rollers with base plate are IACS certified.
Safety and reliability
Our Pedestal Rollers IMO 1175 is equipped with a safety locking nut on the roller large enough to prevent accidental release from the pin, thus ensuring greater safety on deck.
