What a chain stopper is

The Tongue type chain stopper SWL 200T/250T/350T is suitable for both OCIMF mooring friction chain with a diameter of 76 Grade 3 and IMO towing friction chain (diameter 54 or 76 mm) with a drilled base and seat (standard seat height = 350 mm).
The high-strength Grade 3 towing chain is approximately 8 meters long, with one end having an open link and the other end having a standard open pear link.

Available with a work certificate or class certificate.

Suitable for stud link chain from 20.5 mm up to 54 mm in diameter, Grade 2 and 3.
Made of certified high tensile strength plating, WITHOUT cast steel components.
Resists up to 80% of the chain cable's braking load.
