Posidonia produces the world's largest stainless steel SHHP anchor.
Of course there are bigger anchors, the largest in the world ever weighing 75 tons, but not in stainless steel!
The PTW+ ® 2.025 Kg type anchor was produced in our workshop in Novi Ligure.
Head has been tested by the Russian Maritime Register Of Shipping and by Germanischer Lloyd on our Posidonia test bench.

The test test of the anchors was 582 kN (the maximum power of the test bench is 4905 kN, about 500 tons) The tender was won by Posidonia in competition with the only other two producers of SHHP anchors; one company from the Netherlands and the other from New Zealand
