What is the Adaptor Piece (Three-Link Connector)?
The adapter 3 links is a very flexible accessory that allow to get an open end link when necessary. It's very frequent that on the end side of the chain cable it could be necessary to connect a swivel crown shackle to the anchor side or any kind of shackle or end connector to the chain locker side.
How it’s built
The Adapter 3 links consist of a common stud link, a enlarged stud link and an open end linl withoud stud with a bigger size compared to the common link so that it makes easier the connection with other accessories / equipments.
About the mix ropes and chain systems, the adapter 3 links in connection with an anchor D shackle connect the chain cable with the rope that usually is equipped with a thimble eye or a socket.
