Swivel Forerunner

The Swivel Forerunner, which we can translate as “chain stopper” is designed to reduce the twisting of anchor chains and prevent entanglement, allowing for a safer and more stable anchoring.

The Swivel Forerunner is used in combination with the Kenter joining shackle and the D-type anchor shackle.

There are different sizes of Swivel Forerunner available, depending on the size of the chains.

The Swivel Forerunner is composed of a head link without crossbar, an enlarged link with crossbar, a swivel, an enlarged link with crossbar, and a common link with crossbar. Shorter versions are only available on request to reduce space requirements.
