

What is the Anchor “D” Shackle
The Anchor "D" Shackle is a specialized maritime accessory designed to establish a secure connection between the anchor shank and the rope. This essential component enables quick attachment and detachment of anchors, making it indispensable for vessel mooring operations.
It is also possible to use the anchor shackle type D in mixed rope and chain systems.

The shackle is available in multiple specifications to meet different operational requirements. Users can choose between GRADE 2 and GRADE 3 versions, offering different load-bearing capacities, with GRADE 3 providing superior strength for heavier loads.
Regarding corrosion protection, three execution options are available: galvanized finish for enhanced marine protection, black bituminous paint for economical corrosion resistance, and versions featuring low magnetic permeability to prevent interference with navigation instruments and sensitive magnetic systems.
